Hi, it's me, Madison Bates but you can call me Mo! I'm a 21 year old artist who focuses on storytelling through photography, short films and writing.
I was born, raised, and still live in Oklahoma, but I love traveling and going to new places.
I have loved the arts and have known it was my calling since 2007. This was the year in which I was introduced to Taylor Swift and held a camera for the first time. Since then, I’ve never gone anywhere without my camera, pen, and notebook.

Capture it, remember itMy work deals with themes of nostalgia and memory preservation. I love to capture nature, concerts, and candid moments of those I hold close to my heart. Above all, I tell the story of places I've been and places I'm going through visual arts. Doing this allows me to show my life from my perspective through my personal lens, therefore, allowing others to connect with my journey however they see it, through their own lens and perspective. This allows me to cement photography as a way of preserving and documenting my day-to-day life by using photography as a form of storytelling.
